Arazona Chapter 17

Continuing with my story Arazona, I know its been a while but here is Chapter 17

Chapter 17

"So what's our next move" Fifi asked
"The Ultimate Battle. This is the one, we will drew out the army and slaughter them as we take the plant" the Krygon General said looking down at the planet from the bridge "If you want the President's son to survive, that will be up to you"
Fifi sighed as she had no idea how she would get Luke to leave the Planet with her.
 
"I'm afraid I can't authorise that Coby, you need to go through all the medical checks not just half of them" General Lincs of the Astrithian Army said
"General please, you have to let me go, I have to fight in this battle and I'm fine I don't need the rest of medical checks" Coby persisted
"Coby your an excellent fighter, but I can't let you go, I wish I could, I'm sorry" General Lincs left to ready his Army for departure. Coby returned to his home,
"How did it go" Maybelle asked as he came through the door
"General Lincs won't let me go" he told her
"Coby I'm so sorry" Maybelle kissed him, he kissed her back "I wish there was something I could do to help" she told him
"It's ok, you being here is enough" he kissed her again
"Why don't you see what ships are left once the army leave and go in one of them" Maybelle suggested
"Not a bad idea lovely" Coby caressed her lips and kissed her again.
     The Astrithian Army readied themselves, they all boarded ships and planes before taking off and heading to Arazona to aid them.
 
"General we have an incoming message" the Communications Officer told Luke
"What's it say?"
"25 hours we will meet you in the desert, 25 hours we will destroy you, the Krygon General" everyone looked at Luke
"25 hours, we have one day to ready ourselves for the biggest fight of the century"
"Luke one army is not enough to beat them we need help" General Alcatech told him
"I know, but we have no one else, no time to seek aid" Luke said worryingly
"Sir we also have another message from Emperor Sut" the Communication Officer said
"From Astrith" Luke replied
"Yes he's sending an army to aid us, they should be here with two hours to spare, there is list of all the units"
"Thanks” Luke took the list from the Officer “General Alcatech, get Lieutenant Broderick and General Mason, meet me and Antonia in the board room" Luke instructed, General Alcatech nodded, then all left the control room and soon were discussing their game plan,
"OK, so The Gifted are to be the front, Units 10 and 11 are to be at the back with Units 3 and 4 attacking from behind they are strongest with the guns, Units 8 and 9 are already in orbit of the planet and the Thunderstorm Pilots are getting ready as we speak and Units 1 and 2 are to protect the city, I've already sent out the signal for civilians to make their way to the safety shelters, they have also been told to stay put until told otherwise" Luke relayed the plan
"Yes General" Mason replied
"I will also send some of the Gifted to aid Units 3 and 4" General Alcatech said
"Great idea, I’m going to tell Units 8 and 9 to keep as many of the ships away from the city as possible, let's go" Luke replied "Antonia can I talk to you for a moment" Luke asked as everyone left
"Of course, what's up" she stood close to him
"I wanted to give you this" he put a necklace around Antonia's neck
"Oh Luke, it's beautiful" she whispered
"It's a Psyclone Crystal
"Really, how did you find one, their extremely rare?"
"I know, their also know to protect the person wearing it" Luke pulled her closer
"Oh Luke I love you so much"
"I love you too" they kissed before going to get ready.
     Soon after the Astrithian Army arrived
"General Lincs, welcome and thank you so much for aiding us" General Alcatech greeted the Astrithian General a scar stretched across his face  
"General Alcatech good to see you again and it's our pleasure, I live for this stuff as you can see from the scar" they shook hands
"Here's what you need to know" General Alcatech handed General Lincs a folder with everything that had been discussed in the board room,
"Thank you we should have a good chance of beating them now, I also understand the next Difinity had risen"
"That is true, how did you know" General Alcatech asked
"Her friend who was rescued from the Krygon ship by one of our own, told us" there was a thud behind them, they turned around, Antonia stood in front of the Astrithian army, wings stretched out,
"Maybelle's ok, was she hurt" Antonia asked
"She's fine and unharmed. It's a pleasure to meet you Difinity" General Lincs replied
"You to General"
"Is that a Psyclone Crystal" General Alcatech asked
"Yes, Luke gave it to me" she replied
"Where did he get it?"
"Actually he never answered that question, I'll asked him again later, right now we have two hours, we leave for battle in 30 minutes" Antonia told them
"Yes Ma'am" General Lincs nodded, Antonia nodded back then flew off into the sky.

An Authors Tale Part 1

 

"Nina, get out of the shower, I have to get to work" Tia banged on the bathroom door

"Alright, alright keep your hair on" Nina opened the door in her dressing gown and a towel around her head

"You know I can't be late, Tessa will kill me"

"Tia, why do you work for her, she's an evil bitch"

"I know, everyone talks about it when she's not around, but she fires people for being late" Tia expressed

"You should go or you'll miss the bus" Nina said looking at the clock on the wall

"Thanks for hogging the bathroom" Tia grabbed her coat and left

"You're welcome" Nina called after her as she walked out of the flat they shared.

      Tia made her way down the street to the bus stop, taking out a note pad and going through her morning’s job for Fashion Designer Tessa MacLesston. The bus came round the corner and Tia had to run for it, the driver kindly stopped before she got the actual bus stop,

"Thank you" she said to the driver and sat down.

She continued to look through her job list and right at the top was coffee and bagel from Bagel Bites, the shop was right next to the bus stop and luckily there was no queue, Tia order straight away

"Hi, can I get a none fat cafe latte and a salmon sesame seed bagel to go please" she ordered and waited five minutes before making her way towards the office. Five minutes out a creepy hooded guy grabbed her bag, the coffee went everywhere

"Hey what the hell" she fought him off but got punched a few times in the face

"Hey get away from her" a tall guy dressed in quick trendy clothes ran across the road to help Tia, the creepy guy managed to get hold of her bag and ran off down the street

"Are you ok" the trendy man helped her up off the ground "oh god look at your face, let me take you to the hospital" Tia nodded and the trendy man led her away.

 

The doctor after hearing what had happened called the police, Tia gave her statement,

"Was there anything valuable in the bag" the Police Officer asked

"Just my purse, there were my back cards, I.D, a few points’ cards and twenty pounds in cash" Tia was shaking

"What about your phone"

"It's in my pocket"

"And what did this guy look like"

"He was um....he was.....a little taller than me, very slim, wore a navy hoodie. I need to cancel my bank cards" Tia tailed off

"Ok, if you have any more information please ring the number on this card" the police office gave her a card with a number on, Tia took it and left to ring the bank.

       "Hey are you ok" the trendy man found Tia on a bench outside the hospital

"I'm fine" she replied

"I have your discharge papers and your prescription; the doctor said you will be fine just a few cuts and bruises but he prescribed you some pain killers to help with the pain"

"Thank you" Tia took the papers

"Let me take you home"

"I need to go to work" Tia got up and walked towards the bus stop

"Let me make sure you get there safely"

"Ok"

"I'm Oliver"

"Tia. Thank you Olive, for helping me"

"It's fine, are you sure you want to go to work" Oliver asked

"Yes I have a lot to do"

Oliver smiled and made sure Tia got to work.

      "This is me" Tia stopped in front of a tall building

"Ok, look here's my number let me know you get home safely" Oliver gave Tia a piece of paper

"Thank you" Tia gave a weak smile. They parted ways and Tia make her way up to her bosses’ office

"You're late" Tessa said not looking up from her designs as Tia walked into her office, she wore a trendy black suit with a leopard print scarf around her neck and thin stiletto heels,

"Tessa I am so, so sorry I got..."

"You're fired" Tessa interrupted, Tia looked at her appalled

"So you're not going to listen to why I am late or even look at me to see for yourself" Tia said, Tessa looked up

"You look like death, what happened?"

"I got mugged on the way to work, I had to go to the hospital and give a statement to the police" Tia told her

"Really, you're still fired" Tessa went back to her designs

"Wow, you really are a cold heartless bitch, who the hell would fire someone who has just been mugged, what kind of a human being would do that, you are horrible, mean and nasty, no wonder you are so lonely" Tia walked straight out of the room and packed up her desk, Tessa looked at where Tia had just been standing and sat back in her chair.

     "Tia are you alright what happened" Katie, Tia's now former colleague asked as she walked by,

"No, I got mugged on the way here and the bitch just fired me for being late"

"Oh god Tia, I'm so sorry come here" Katie gave her a hug

"Don't be, you don't by any chance have any cash on you I need to get a taxi home and I have no access to my money at the moment" Tia asked

"Sure, here" Katie went into the her bag and pulled out a twenty pound note

"Oh Katie I can't take that much" Tia stated

"It's all I have on me, pay me back when you can" Katie smiled

Tia smile back and took the money. She made her way outside and phoned a taxi. When she got back to her flat she crashed on the sofa.

 

"Tia, Tia" Nina shook Tia awake who was still crashed out on the sofa

"What" Tia mumbled

"What the hell happened, you look like you have been beaten up"

"I was mugged on the way to work" Tia sat up

"What do you mean" Nina sat next to her

"I got mugged, some nit twit ran up to me, grabbed  my bag and ran off, but not before throwing a few punches, then when I finally got to work Tessa fired me, I have no job" Tia began to cry

"Oh Tia, come here" Nina put her arm around her friend

"And my face hurts" Tia rested her head on Nina's shoulder

"Oh Tia, it's going to be alright you'll get through this and I'm here to help"

"I know, I'm going to go to bed, I just want this day to be over" Tia got up and walked down the hall to her room.

    "Morning" Tia said as she walking in to the living room/kitchen

"How are you feeling" Nina asked

"Worse than yesterday" she slumped on the sofa

"Don't worry you will find another job this is London there are jobs everywhere" Nina put the top on her coffee cup "look I have to go to work and you need to sign on"

"No way I am not going to the job centre, they are very unhelpful and my brother has been going for a year and a half now and has gotten nowhere"

"Tia I know but you are unemployed now"

"I know Nina, I don't need you pointing it out" Tia stood up and walked back to her bedroom.

Nina went off to work and Tia spent the morning in bed upset at what had happened the day before. Tears ran down her cheek, she picked up her phone and called someone

"Hey it's me, can you come over I need your help. Ok thanks" she hung up and went to get a shower.

The door bell rang,

"Holly thank god, I'm so glad you could come over" Tia said as she answered the door

"You look like hell, what the hell happened" Holly, Tia's oldest friend walked into the flat

"I got mugged on the way to work yesterday and then Tessa fired me when I was late"

"Oh Tia this is perfect" Holly jumped with joy

"Sorry what" Tia looked confused

"Not that you were mugged but that you got fired, now you can come work with me, the show is hiring more production assistant’s"

"What! The Brian Kessler Show is hiring"

"Yes, let me call my boss and see if I can get you an interview" Holly dialled her bossed number and in five minutes had Tia an interview

"Hurry up, get ready and put on lots of makeup you can't go in looking that" Holly said

"I know I was hoping it would have cleared up before I got an interview" she walked towards her room "Oh you bought your car right"

"Of course" Holly replied

"Great because I need a lift there and a lift back, I have no access to my money until my new bank cards arrive"

 

"Come in Tia, take a seat" Carl the Producer said as Tia entered his office

"Thank you for seeing me on such short notice" Tia replied

"Not a problem, we are a bit short on runners" Carl answered "have you got your CV"

Tia handed him a piece of paper

"So tell me a bit about your last job" Carl asked looking at her CV

"Well I use to work for Tessa MacLesston, I was her assistant, I dealt with pretty much everything from taking calls to originating meeting to getting her coffee to dealing with clients and visitors" Tia replied

"So why did you leave"

"Well I got fired for being late one time which I am usually not, I am always on time but I got mugged on the way to work and had to go to the hospital and give a statement to the police"

"Wait, you where late once for pretty much the best reason and she fired you, why not just give you a warning" Carl asked

"Well that's Tessa, she will fire you for no good reason, last year an intern dropped a pen and Tessa fired her"

"Wow she sound like a cold nasty woman"

"Yes she is, she always has been" Tia expressed

"So Tia this job will require you to be on your feet a lot, running around helping out the guest’s, the host, helping to set up the set, running to the shops when need be. What do you think?"

"I spent every day running around after Tessa, whenever I got to sit down I was straight back up again chasing another of Tessa's demands and I did it all in heels. Flats where banned from the office"

"Wow your feet must have been soar"

"Oh yeah all the time, I have spent a lot of money on foot massages" Tia laughed

"Well you won't have to wear heels here, flat comfy shoes are well recommended; so can you start Monday" Carl asked

"You mean I've got the job" Tia asked

"Of course your CV is very impressive, I just hope you are as good in person as you are on paper"

"Great, yes I can start Monday" Tia said happily

"Great I will see you at 8:30 on Monday morning" Carl stood and shook Tia hand

"Great I will see you then" Tia turned towards the door

"I will take you through the ropes and who you need to report too on Monday"

"Thank you Carl" Tia left and found Holly

     "Hey Holly" Tia found her in the office

"Hey Tia, how did it go"

"I got the job, the easiest job I have ever gotten" Tia said

"Congrats Tia, and we are low on production assistants it's not that easy to get a job like that these days" Holly drank the coffee that sat on her desk

"So I need my life home" Tia remained Holly

"Oh of course, give me two minutes" Holly disappeared into an office then came back a few minutes later "Right let's go and great job with your make up, you can barely see your bruises"

"Thanks but my face still hurts" Tia replied following Holly out of the building.

 

Tia let herself in, she changed her clothes and removed her makeup. She went in to the kitchen and took the hot chocolate jar out of the tea cupboard to find it practically empty,

"Oh Nina" she said frustrated, she knew if she wanted a hot chocolate she would have to go out again. She changed in to a pair of jeans but left on the hoodie she was already wearing she grabbed a bit of money from her emergency box and left the flat. As she walked up the path she pulled her hood to conceal her face hoping she wouldn't be too long. She arrived at the shop got what she needed and a box of Weetos and made her way back home. She was soon curled up on the sofa with her hot chocolate and a big bowl of Weetos and watched re-runs of 'How I met your Mother' on E4.

     "Hey I'm back" Nina said coming thought the door

"Hey, thanks for telling me we were out of hot chocolate, I have to go out looking like this" Tia pointed at her face

"Sorry, why didn't you out makeup on"

"I had already taken it off, Holly got me a job on The Brian Kessler Show" Tia told Nina

"Tia that's great and I love that show, what will you be doing" Nina sat next to her

"Production Assistant and I don't have to wear heals"

"Tia that is so great, I'm really happy for you, can you get me an autograph"

"Nina" Tia through a cushion at her

"What I am only asking" Nina giddily shrieked

"I may not get anywhere near the guy, so I'm not sure if I would be able to"

"Oh come on Tia, he's my celebrity crush and he's single" Nina reminded her

"He's 43, your 26"

"So" Nina batted her eyelids 'Please Tia"

"Ok, ok I will do my best. I will talk to Holly to see if it's possible first, then I will do my best"

"Oh thank you Tia" Nina hugged her friend

"Ow watch the face" Tia told her

"Sorry. Shall we order take out" Nina suggested

"Order me a big ass pizza" Tia replied

"Meat feast" Nina picked up the phone

"Of course, then you can go out and get me some mini cheddars, I forgot to pick some up when I was out"

"Sure I'll leave you the money for the pizza" Nina took some cash out of her purse as she gave the pizza place her order.

 

The weekend came and Tia and been shut up in her flat all week, her new bank cards arrived on Saturday morning,

"You should go out, do a bit of shopping" Nina said as Tia was signing the back of her new bank cards

"I'm not sure there's not really anything I need at the moment"

"Tia, you have been locked up in the flat all week, you need to get out, go to the shopping centre, have a browse, see if anything catches your eye" Nina told her, she was in the middle of getting ready for a spa day she had won at work with a few colleagues "you can't keep yourself locked up, it's not good for you"

"Fine I'll go if it will make you happy" Tia got up off the sofa

"Thank you" Nina smiled.

Tia walked in to the bathroom, got a shower and put a pair of jeans with a cute top,

"Nina can a borrow a bag please" Tia shouted from her bedroom "I don't have another one"

"Sure and that is something you can go shopping for" Nina pointed out as she handed Tia a bag, Tia smirked as she put it on her bed and carried on putting on foundation to cover her bruises that had faded only a tiny bit.

 

Tia walked down the street to the shopping centre and walked straight into her favourite department store John Lewis and went straight for the bag section. She spent a bit of time having a good look at a few bags that caught her eye and eventually chose one by Kate Spade for £350 and a purse in the same colour by Ted Baker. She went to that till point to pay

"Tia" a voice from behind her said, she turned around to find Oliver stood behind her,

"Oliver, hi, I didn't see you there"

"How are you, I thought you had a few bruises from Monday" Oliver said examining her face,

"I do, I've got foundation on, though I don't really wear it this heavy, but I needed it to cover the bruises" Tia told him

"Well I think you look great" Oliver replied "How did it got when you got to work" he asked

"I got fired, and Tessa was a bitch when I told her why, but my friend Holly got me a job on the TV show she works on as a production assistant" she told him

"Who's next" the cashier said, Tia went to pay before Oliver could reply, she paid for her items and waited for Oliver as he paid for a purse he had picked up,

"I didn't know you used woman's purses" Tia teased

"Oh no, it's for my Mum, it's her birthday next week" he smiled "So what show will you be working on" he asked

"Um The Brian Kessler Show" Tia told him

"Wow I love that show, it's so much better with than other talk shows, they don't just have celebrity guests but also real people who deserves to be recognised" Oliver said as they walked out of the store and into the shopping centre,

"Would you like to get a cup of coffee" Oliver asked

"Sure" Tia smiled and they walked into the nearest coffee shop.

     "Wow, your mother sounds overbearing" Oliver said as Tia talked about her family

"She is, she came round on Wednesday after hearing about my mugging, thanks to my roommate Nina and when she saw my face she went all fussy and I felt like I was five again, it didn't help that she brought my unemployed brother with her" Tia looked down cast

"Is you brother looking for a job" Oliver asked

"Nope not anymore, he just sit there collecting benefits and playing his Xbox whilst my Mum waits on him hand and foot"

"Sounds like an arsehole if you don't mind me saying"

"Not at all, he is, he really is and my Dad can't cope anymore, he told him on Tuesday that he will be throwing him out if he doesn't get his act together. He even got him a job at his company once but he didn't turn up on the first day and got my Dad in to trouble, he went ballistic when he got home" Tia said all sombre

"Wow sounds like my sister and my mother, my sister collects benefits and get drunk most weekends and my Mum keeps telling her to get job or move out and now so she doesn't have to work my sister got pregnant" Oliver told her

"Wow really, so you're going to be an uncle"

"Yep, I can't wait, I love children but my Mum think that she will be the one left looking after the child when it's here, though my sister has always wanted to be a Mother herself, I tried to talk her into doing childcare in college but I think she's someone who just loves being care free but I really hoping being a Mother will set her straight, I thought she was an alcoholic at one point the amount of times she had to have her stomach pumped but then she stated to do dry January and I found out she doesn't drink during the week she just shops for shoes" Oliver also looked sombre

"Wow we really have messed up families don't we" Tia stated

"We really do" Oliver smiled, he looked at Tia and bit his lip "Tia would you like to have dinner with me" he asked

"What like a date" Tia asked

"Not like a date, an actual date"

"Sure" Tia smiled she gave him her number after realising she hadn't let him know she got home safely when they first met

"I'm really sorry I forget to text you, I usually do but I was in that much pain and really fed up I just crashed on the sofa" Tia apologised

"It's ok, I know your safe now, and I really am glad I bumped into you" he smiled "So I will call you in the week with a time and restaurant for Friday" they had decided to have dinner the following Friday

"Sure, don't hesitate to call for a chat though" Tia smiled

"I won't" Oliver smiled back, he looked at his watch "I have to go, my sister has an ultrasound and I said I'd go with her" Oliver stood up "I'll see you Friday"

"Sure" Tia also stood up and Oliver kissed her on the cheek, she flinched a bit

"Sorry my face still hurts a bit" she apologised

"Don't be, I should have thought about that"

"Don't worry it's be hurting all week" she smiled

"Well I hope you feel better for next week" he squeezed her hand then left to meet his sister.
